Through their efforts, our organization offers many services to eventing and dressage enthusiasts throughout the Wisconsin area. The WDCTA is a charter member of the United States Dressage Federation ( USDF ). Our organization was created in 1971 and was known as the "Wisconsin Dressage Association." In 1973, we became a charter member of the United States Dressage Federation. In 1986, we changed our name to "Wisconsin Dressage & Combined Training Association, Inc."
The WDCTA belongs to Region 2 of the United States Dressage Federation. Region 2 includes Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The Regional Director for Region 2 is Susan Hughes of Plymouth, MI. She is a USEF "R" dressage judge and clinician.
