Facebook Policy

WDCTA welcomes comments on its Facebook Fan page from all our visitors, both WDCTA members and the general public.

Policy (Nov 2017):

WDCTA will not advertise private clinics or private events on its Facebook 'group' or 'page' for non-members unless a PAID advertisement is placed in the WDCTA eQuester newsletter, at which time a one-time post promoting the advertised event will be allowed in the WDCTA Facebook ‘group.' Advertising of items for sale is not allowed in the Facebook ‘group’ or ‘page’. All unpaid, non-member postings about private events, or items for sale, will be removed by a WDCTA Facebook administrator.

WDCTA will allow a reasonable number of posts to their Facebook 'group' for WDCTA-recognized schooling shows and all WDCTA sponsored clinics and events.

WDCTA will add dates and locations for WDCTA-recognized schooling shows to its website calendar. Non-WDCTA-sponsored events can only be promoted with PAID advertising in the eQuester.

Helmet Policy


The State Board has unanimously approved the following helmet policy (Feb 2011 State Board Minutes):

At any WDCTA event, State or Chapter sponsored, all riders must wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet at all times while mounted.
