Camie Stockhausen

Camie Stockhausen is a United States Eventing Association lnstructor Cerfication Program (USEA-1CP) graduate. She has earned lowa Horsewoman of the Year and Iowa Thoroughbred Owner's and Breeders Association Eventing Thoroughbred of the Year for the years 2007 to 2009, as well as being a member of the USEA Bronze Medal Club.

She has earned her foxhunting colors and is a member of the North Hills Hunt. Camie has competeand excelled at recognized horse trials through the Preliminary level, always training her own horses, which have been thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Arabians, and quarter horses. She has developed horses for clients for foxhunting, eventing, western pleasure, trail riding, and driving. She occasionally buys off-track thoroughbreds and develops them for foxhunting or eventing. Camie works with rider from children through adults, focusing on logical, well-rounded development, and fun.

Camie teaches clinics throughout the Midwest. She focuses on using the foundation of dressage to develop quality, relaxed jumping. She also helps riders communicate more effectively with their horses to achieve better results. Camie continues her riding education by riding in clinics with national and international level dressage and jumping instructors.

A great deal of her success with horses is founded on the cornerstone that the relationship between horses and riders is best when horses are regarded as partners, rather than slaves. The manner in which riders communicate is key. Camie′s mission is to help riders develop relaxed communication with their horses.

Camie is a Purina Regional Ambassador as a result of her long experience and success with feeding her horses Purina products, specifically Ultium for her competition horses.

Jessica Underwood

Come and learn how to ride your best test while improving your dressage skills, have a better understanding of what a dressage judge is looking for and have some fun!

With over 20 years experience, Jessica is a compassionate rider with strong fundamentals. Having competed successfully through the Intermediate and CCI* level of Three Day Eventing and currently pursuing her ‘L’ judge certification, Jessica knows how to teach both horse and rider how to achieve their goals, with a wealth of competition advice.

She focuses on connecting the horse and rider while building confidence and knowledge through positive experiences and a mindful personalized approach, with the horse's overall well-being always a priority. Jessica has a keen awareness of the rider's confidence and she focuses on strengthening the horse-rider relationship and uses positive reinforcement to help both achieve success. Jessica uses soft and consistent exercises and cues to help riders communicate with the horse, and achieves a positive end result while providing a fun and relaxed learning environment.
